Brisbane’s suburbs also have their own distinct feel: to the east is chic Kangaroo Point: just west of the city is trendy Paddington while to the Northwest, fortitude Valley has a multicultural population and wonderful restaurants. Wherever you go, the laid back and friendly manner of the locals will override any urban bustle.
